Virtuos seeks a hands-on Machine Learning Engineer to develop an enterprise AI agent platform with a strong backend focus. You will build agent execution and orchestration capabilities, integrate enterprise systems, and deliver secure, reliable features from backend services to frontend interfaces.

You will design Python backend services with secure REST APIs and PostgreSQL models, and build responsive frontends using TypeScript and modern frameworks.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software development experience across backend and frontend.
• Strong Python skills with FastAPI or similar frameworks and async programming.
• Experience with LLM tool calling, agent execution, or workflow orchestration.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems with API contracts, data mapping, and retries.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0/OIDC and RBAC in applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Vue or React.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Docker; able to troubleshoot via logs and metrics.
• Clear communication with global, cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Agent platform and orchestration: build harnesses, model/tool execution loops, context management.
• Develop reusable tools and connectors for enterprise APIs, with input and output contracts.
• Design Python backend services, secure REST APIs, and PostgreSQL data models.
• Build responsive web interfaces for task progress using TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Protect credentials and enforce access controls, improve concurrency, retries, and recovery.
• Maintain automated tests, CI/CD, and agent evaluations; collaborate with product and IT teams.
