Job summary

Maxis in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Data Scientist - ML & AI Engineer Specialist to design and deploy production-grade AI systems, build scalable ML pipelines, and integrate them into the company’s tech stack.

You will own end-to-end development from model experimentation to monitoring, work with data engineers and DevOps, and apply Generative AI, LLMs, and computer vision to solve business problems at scale.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in Data Science or related fields.
• 3+ years deploying production-grade ML models.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with Gen AI, NLP and Computer Vision.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy end-to-end ML systems and scalable pipelines.
• Lead production-grade AI deployments with robust monitoring and CI/CD (MLOps).
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and DevOps to integrate AI solutions.
• Prototype and integrate Generative AI advances (LLMs, RAG) into products.
