Gen in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build and maintain production ML systems. You will frame business problems, design ML solutions, and prototype models to deliver value.

You’ll lead automation of ML workflows and collaborate with Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers to improve system design. Required are strong math/statistics, hands-on ML, Python/SQL, and experience with libraries like scikit‑learn, XGBoost and LightGBM.

Formación

• Strong mathematical, statistical or actuarial background.
• Hands-on experience in machine learning, predictive analytics and statistical modelling.
• Proficient in Python and SQL and fluent with ML libraries.
• Experience deploying ML models to production and building ML systems/workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Frame and contextualize machine learning problems for business use cases.
• Research, build and design ML systems and models to solve business problems.
• Assess data, select datasets for modelling and testing.
• Prototype and implement ML algorithms to improve products.
• Design, execute and monitor ML experiments and metrics.
• Automate and orchestrate ML processes and pipelines.
