Job summary

BD is seeking a Microbiology Lab Technician in Kedah, Malaysia, to perform and document microbiology tests according to GLP and to assist with stock management of lab chemicals and supplies. This role requires monitoring test results and preparing data trends to support quality and compliance.

You will maintain lab equipment, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and handle related duties as assigned, contributing to BD's mission to advance health and improve patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting microbiology lab testing in accordance with GLP.

Responsibilities

• Perform all microbiology lab testing in accordance with GLP.
• Proper documentation and recording of all test results.
• Stocking and ordering of laboratory chemicals, media and other supplies.
• Monitoring all results produced by Microbiology Lab.
• Preparing trend micro lab testing data.
• Performing Gamma Dose Audit testing.
• Maintenance of lab equipment.
• Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD Safety regulations, policies, and procedures including RCRA Hazardous waste regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
