Job summary

BD Malaysia is seeking a Microbiology Lab Technician to perform all microbiology lab testing in compliance with GLP standards. The role involves documenting results, stocking and ordering laboratory supplies, and monitoring test outcomes to ensure quality and accuracy.

The successful candidate will maintain equipment, prepare trend data, and support gamma dose audit testing, while adhering to safety regulations and BD’s corporate policies. Primary location is MYS Kedah - Bard Kulim (Malaysia).

Job Description

• All Microbiology Lab testing and conduct them according to GLP.
• Proper documentation and recording of all test results.
• Stocking and ordering of laboratory chemicals, media and other supplies.
• Monitoring all results produced by Microbiology Lab.
• Preparing trend micro lab testing data
• Performing Gamma Dose Audit testing.
• Maintenance of lab equipment.

• Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD Safety regulations, policies, and procedures including RCRA Hazardous waste regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
