Job summary

Robert Bosch Group Malaysia seeks a Senior Manufacturing IT (MES & SAP) Engineer to oversee planning, installation, maintenance and improvement of Manufacturing IT, Digitalization, Data Warehouse, IT Security & Data Privacy at the Penang semiconductor testing facility.

You will model new products in MES, set SAP routings for Production Planning, drive APF Real Time Dispatching, and resolve MES/SAP issues while collaborating with international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Information Technology or Computer Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of information technology experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong programming skills in Java or similar language.
• Good knowledge of SQL, XML and JSON; exposure to web services.
• Experience with APF, SAP and MES in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Excellent English communication and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Model new products and process flows in the MES system.
• Set up SAP routings for Production Planning.
• Implement APF Real Time Dispatching strategies.
• Troubleshoot daily MES and SAP issues.
• Collaborate with international teams on APF topics.
• Design and optimize fabrication control procedures and processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing semiconductor environment.
