Job summary

Turner & Townsend Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia, is seeking an experienced QA/QC Lead for MEP projects to develop and enforce the Project Quality Management Plan, review ITPs, and drive continuous improvement across mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines.

You will coordinate with designers, contractors and client representatives, manage NCRs and FAT/SAT records, monitor KPI trends, and contribute to project handover with thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or related discipline.
• 8–10 years QA/QC experience in Industrial, Semiconductor, Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or other mission-critical facilities (MEP).
• Strong knowledge of MEP installation standards, testing and commissioning processes, quality management systems, and international codes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan for MEP works.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, quality procedures, material submittals and shop drawings for MEP.
• Lead site quality inspections, audits, and surveillance to ensure compliance with project specs and standards.
• Monitor contractor quality performance and drive corrective actions for issues.
• Manage NCRs, quality observations, root cause analyses and close-out processes.
• Review testing and commissioning records (FAT, SAT) and inspection documentation.
• Coordinate with designers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and client representatives on quality matters.
• Ensure MEP installations comply with project requirements and local regulations.
• Track quality KPIs and prepare regular quality reports for stakeholders.
• Support commissioning, systems integration, punch list management, and final handover docs.
