Job summary

Kuantan Port Consortium Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee maintenance and reliability of Material Handling Systems at the Bulk Cargo Terminal. You will coordinate preventive and corrective activities, monitor contractors, and ensure safety and efficiency in line with HSE requirements.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 5+ years’ experience in MHS maintenance, and strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of related experience.
• Experience maintaining Material Handling Systems (MHS) including PMS and TMS.
• Familiarity with ship unloaders, stacker reclaimers, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance for MHS and related equipment.
• Oversee maintenance to ensure reliability and readiness.
• Monitor contractors’ work and ensure compliance with standards.
