Job summary

Arup Malaysia is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to perform hands-on concept and detailed mechanical design for data center projects, providing calculations, drawings and specifications.

You will manage small project teams, liaise with clients and other engineers, and contribute to project monitoring and delivery within the MEP team. Arup offers a structured career plan and a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering is required.
• At least 6 years of detailed mechanical design experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Data Center design experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on concept and detailed mechanical design for projects including Data Centers.
• Provide design calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Project and team administration duties and producing project correspondence and reports.
• Work directly with clients and other professionals with minimal supervision.
• Manage small project teams and monitor project delivery within the MEP team.
