Job summary

Aemulus Corporation Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical development of complex Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems. You will own designs from concept to production and ensure robust, high-precision performance.

You will translate system requirements into mechanical architecture, mentor junior engineers, review tolerances and drawings, and collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve fabrication challenges while advancing next-generation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6–10+ years of relevant engineering experience with ownership of complex products or subsystems.
• Strong expertise in mechanical design and manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Experience with precision machining, sheet metal, plastics and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical development of complex systems or major subsystems.
• Translate system requirements into mechanical architecture and design specifications.
• Establish design concepts, tolerances and engineering methodologies.
• Lead complex mechanical problem solving and root-cause investigations.
• Review drawings, BOMs, calculations and design decisions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve fabrication issues.
• Lead design verification and qualification of mechanical functions.
• Mentor engineers in mechanical design and problem solving.
