Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or University Degree is required.
• Fresh graduates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Requires basic knowledge in the job.
• Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve targets.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Possess negotiation skills to work with suppliers and make better deals.

Responsibilities

• Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Support purchasing function and other departments and communicate procurement issues.
• Interface between suppliers and other departments on purchasing processes and projects.
• Solve procurement problems of varying scope and complexity.
• Inventory management to ensure supply and optimal stock levels.
• Perform procurement activities such as supplier quotations, contract negotiation, material purchasing, and supplier risk management.
• Prepare reports and updates as required.
• Collaborate with procurement team to achieve cost savings and supply assurance.
• Resolve PO problems and coordinate with AP for timely closure.
• Build good supplier relationships to achieve procurement goals.
