Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is seeking a Material Planner to support production loading, monitor shipments, and manage phase in/phase out of materials. You will handle inventory and monthly reports, ensuring timely procurement and smooth production flow across multiple supply chains.

The role requires 3–5 years in supply chain planning, SAP experience, and strong analytical and communication skills to coordinate with engineers and suppliers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain management planning.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal & communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Material planning & purchasing to support production loading.
• Monitor shipments to meet production schedule.
• Manage phase in/phase out of materials for smooth production.
• Inventory management to meet target levels.
• Prepare monthly inventory reports & analyses.
• Plan improvements to boost productivity.
• Replenish stationary stock; create Ariba POs & liaise with security.
