Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Materials Planner to oversee material planning and ensure production runs smoothly. You will forecast demand, plan delivery, and expedite materials to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities include inventory control, procurement coordination, and managing ECN changes. The ideal candidate has a diploma in purchasing or material planning, 3+ years in manufacturing purchasing, SAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and good communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in purchasing or material planning.
• At least 3 years experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of SAP systems is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Honest, collaborative, and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan material and production according to forecast and capacity.
• Expedite incoming materials to support demand.
• Inventory control and purchase activities per lead time to meet KPIs and customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with procurement on vendor performance and other related matters.
• Manage ECN on material changes.
