Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior Production Planner to organize daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand and ensure timely delivery. You will coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Warehouse teams to maintain smooth execution and material availability for production plans in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves monitoring inventory, supporting R&D sample activities, and tracking outputs to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in production planning and materials management / Junior Planner with 1-2 years of relevant experience will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand and requirements and monitor progress against planned schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans; issue QC cards and generate MR.
• Plan and monitor material requirements for raw materials and packaging needs; ensure material availability to support production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist maintaining optimal stock levels; follow up on replenishment activities with Purchasing.
• Prepare materials for R&D sample requirements and support new product trials and sample activities.
• Track daily production output and work in progress; identify scheduling gaps, capacity constraints, or material shortages and escalate issues when necessary.
