Job summary

GME Carbon Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead operations in Ulu Tiram, Johor. Oversee Manufacturing, CNC Machining, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Logistics to achieve targets with a focus on efficiency, safety, and profitability.

You will drive lean initiatives, manage a < 100 employee workforce, implement ISO standards, and partner with customers to meet delivery requirements, while shaping strategic growth and cost-control efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field; MBA advantage.
• 5+ years in operations management in CNC/graphite metal solutions.
• Proven track record leading large-scale manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of lean, Six Sigma or CI methodologies.
• Understanding of HSE regulations and safety best practices.
• Ability to develop and implement operational strategies for efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, and delivery targets.
• Manage departments: Production, CNC, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, Purchasing, Logistics.
• Drive lean initiatives, OEE, cycle times, and productivity improvements.
• Develop KPIs, monitor costs, budgets, and capacity planning.
• Ensure ISO compliance and customer specifications; drive continuous improvement.
• Lead safety culture and risk mitigation across facilities.
