Job summary

Mezans in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Finance & Account Executive for the manufacturing arm to manage full set of accounts, AP/AR and GL, and prepare monthly management accounts.

You will handle month-end and year-end closings, bank reconciliations, budgeting, cost control, product costing and inventory valuation, and liaise with auditors and authorities while ensuring compliance.

Candidates with strong Excel and accounting software experience and fluency in Mandarin/English/Bahasa are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in handling Full Set Accounts is preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience and inventory costing expertise is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for the manufacturing business.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and financial analysis.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, payment vouchers and supplier payments.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting and cost control.
• Handle inventory accounting, stock reconciliation and manufacturing costing.
• Assist in product costing, cost analysis and inventory valuation.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and company policies.
• Support Management with financial planning, budgeting and business analysis.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
