Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Manager-level professional to support private equity and corporate clients with financial due diligence and deal execution. You will assess earnings quality, cash flows, and working capital while coordinating with cross-functional teams across regions.

The role requires Big Four experience, IFRS expertise, and strong communication skills to interact with senior management and clients. Travel within the region is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting and/or related major.
• CPA or CA certification preferred.
• Big Four experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with core financial due diligence, identifying risks and deal breakers.
• Analyze income statements, balance sheets, cash flows and key data.
• Construct deal-oriented reports and client presentations.
• Participate in meetings with target management and client personnel.
• Assist Managing Directors in non-project tasks and client communications.
