Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) in Malaysia seeks a senior FDD professional to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence across SEA markets, including Malaysia. You will own multiple workstreams, synthesize earnings and cash flow insights, and present findings to management and clients.

Expect engagement leadership, client contact, and regional collaboration. Required 10+ years of FDD experience, Big Four background, and strong English communication.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Auditing or related major.
• ACCA, CPA Australia or CFA preferred.
• Big Four experience required.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid hands-on in-country experience working in Malaysia.
• Minimum 10 years of FDD experience leading cross-border engagements.
• Deep Malaysia GAAP accounting skills; IFRS knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows in deals and FDD.
• Experience with private equity funds; SEA/Asia cross-border experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint; data analytics tools preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsabilidades

• Lead core financial due diligence across SEA markets including Malaysia and others.
• Own workstreams: earnings quality, working capital, cash flow, forecast review.
• Construct due diligence reports and presentations communicating key findings.
• Serve as senior execution contact for clients and advisors; lead meetings.
• Manage engagement scope, budget, staffing, and issue resolution.
• Cultivate senior networks; act as trusted advisor to clients and teams.
• Build and lead talent; set standards and growth opportunities.
• Support Managing Directors on business development and client activity.
