Job summary

AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad is seeking a senior sustainability leader to develop and govern the company’s sustainability framework, ensuring KPI achievement and effective reporting to stakeholders. The role will drive internal and external disclosures and coordinate with Management Sustainability Committee and Board Risk Committee.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Sustainability, Business Strategy, Corporate Planning and/or related field.
• Experience in financial institutions or reputable companies is an added advantage.
• Earn credentials and/or certificates and/or become a member of Sustainability Professional.

Responsibilities

• Develop sustainability framework to demonstrate and operate sustainability commitment, governance and KPI.
• Drive sustainability projects and initiatives to ensure completion and achieve the intended outcome.
• Lead sustainability external reporting to disclose sustainability commitment, direction, performance and achievement to stakeholders through the company's website, quarterly result report and annual report, ESG ratings and BursaLink ESG Platform.
• Lead sustainability internal reporting for Management Sustainability Committee and Board Risk Committee.
• Resource planning, allocation and justification for sustainability CAPEX and OPEX.
• Formulate carbon emission reduction roadmap according to the TCFD framework, business plan and business units' initiative and commitment.
• Drive Sustainability activities to reach out internal stakeholders including employees in order to increase awareness and understanding on ESG initiatives.
• Drive stakeholder engagement to address stakeholder concerns and expectation.
• Update emerging sustainability topics, guidelines, and requirements to the management team and tailor action plan.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science and any/or related field

Minimum job requirement (education & experience)
