Senior Manager, Network Development (Event)

This role is a senior leadership position accountable for driving the expansion, engagement, and long-term sustainability of the agent network in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role plays a pivotal part in designing and executing strategies that accelerate agent network growth through effective recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention.

In addition to owning the overall agent growth strategy, this position provides strategic oversight to the Events & Functions, Network Support, and Incentive Trip teams, ensuring all initiatives directly support network expansion, productivity, and loyalty.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical thinker, a people-focused leader, and a strong executor with a passion for building and scaling high-performing agent networks while delivering impactful experiences that drive performance and long-term commitment.

Agent Network Growth & Recruitment Strategy

Develop and execute end-to-end strategies to expand the agent network, including targeted recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives across multiple agent tiers.

Identify growth opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and agent demographics to refine recruitment approaches and value propositions.

Partner with Marketing and cross-functional teams to align brand positioning, recruitment campaigns, and agent engagement materials with network growth objectives.

Leverage data, analytics, and insights to monitor recruitment effectiveness, optimize conversion rates, and continuously enhance growth strategies.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team responsible for agent recruitment, events execution, and incentive programs.

Oversee the planning and delivery of large-scale events, including sales rallies, training programs, incentive trips, and recognition events that support agent engagement and network growth.

Collaborate closely with cross-country teams to align resources, execute localized growth initiatives, and ensure consistent delivery of network development strategies across markets.

Performance Tracking, Insights & Reporting

Track, analyze, and report on key agent network growth metrics, including recruitment performance, retention rates, productivity, and event impact.

Prepare regular performance dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders, highlighting progress against network growth objectives.

Measure and evaluate the ROI of recruitment initiatives, incentive programs, and events, using insights to refine future strategies.

Provide data-driven recommendations to improve agent acquisition, engagement, and long-term network performance.

Qualifications and Expectations
  • Possess at least a Degree in Marketing/Business/Advertising/Media, others or equivalent.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written in Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin as this role is required to deal with internal and external stakeholder that speak and write in Mandarin.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the MLM industry or direct sales environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in analytics tools and the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies that drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences, including senior management.
