Job summary

Genting Plantations Berhad is seeking a Senior Manager/Manager IT Audit to lead and execute IT and cybersecurity audits across the Group. You will assess controls for cloud, ERP, infrastructure, OT, IAM, and network security, delivering practical recommendations to strengthen governance.

Applicants should hold a IT-related degree and possess 6–10 years of relevant experience, with CISA preferred. Travel within Malaysia and Indonesia is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, IS or related field.
• Minimum 6–10 years in IT Audit, Cybersecurity, IT Risk, IT consulting, or IT services.
• CISA preferred; other cybersecurity certifications welcomed.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud, IT governance, and technology risk management.
• Experience with data analytics, AI, or audit automation is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and Indonesia.

Job description

Lead and execute IT and cybersecurity audits across the Group.

Assess cybersecurity controls, IT governance, cloud security, ERP systems, infrastructure, and operational technology (OT).

Evaluate identity and access management, network security, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, incident response, disaster recovery, and third-party cyber risk.

Provide assurance on compliance with internal policies and recognized cybersecurity frameworks.

Apply data analytics, AI, automation, and continuous auditing techniques to enhance audit effectiveness.

Develop and enhance IT audit methodologies, audit programs, and cybersecurity assurance practices.

Prepare audit reports and provide practical recommendations to strengthen cybersecurity and technology governance.

Monitor emerging cyber threats, AI developments, and technology risks to support risk-based audit planning.

Engage stakeholders and provide advisory on cybersecurity and digital risk initiatives.

Requirements:

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience for the Senior Manager position or 6 years for the Manager position in IT Audit, Cybersecurity, IT Risk, IT Consulting, or Information Technology.

Professional certification such as CISA is preferred. Other cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage.

Good knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud computing, IT governance, and technology risk management.

Experience in data analytics, AI, or audit automation is an added advantage.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to travel within Malaysia and Indonesia.
