Job summary

Transgrid Ventures in Malaysia seeks a Senior Manager Finance to lead the Finance function during an IPO/listing process. The role focuses on construction finance, corporate governance, and regulatory readiness, working with the Board, advisers and regulators.

You will oversee treasury, project costing, and banking facilities, ensuring timely financial disclosures under MFRS and Bursa Malaysia rules. The position reports to the Finance leadership and collaborates across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IPO/listing preparation and financial disclosures.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, Companies Act, tax regulations.
• Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements.
• Experience overseeing treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Ability to coordinate with advisers, auditors, bankers, lawyers and regulators.

Senior Manager Finance – Construction Company

We are a growing construction / EPCC company currentlyin the midst of a listing processand are seeking forSenior Manager Financeto lead our Finance function.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction finance, corporate governance, and listing readiness, and will work closely with the Board, advisers, and regulators.

Key Highlights:

Lead IPO (Experienced) / listing financials and compliance

Oversee finance, treasury, project costing, and banking facilities

Corporate Finance & Financial Management

Lead and manage all financial aspects ofIPO / listing preparation, including coordination with advisers, auditors, bankers, lawyers, and regulators

Demonstrate knowledge & listing rules and Securities Commission (SC) guidelines, ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Strong familiarity with Bursa Malaysia’s quarterly and annual reporting requirements, including preparation, review and timely submission of financial disclosures.

Oversee preparation of prospectus financials, historical financial information, and forecasts

Oversee full spectrum of finance functions: financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury

Ensure timely and accurate preparation ofmonthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Ensure compliance withMFRS, Companies Act, tax regulations, and statutory requirements

Project & Construction Finance

Provide financial oversight onconstruction projects, including cost control, margin analysis, project cash flows, and claims

Monitor project profitability, variations, EOTs, and risk exposure

Work closely with Project, Contracts, and Commercial teams

Treasury, Banking & Funding

Manage banking facilities, performance bonds, BG, letters of credit, and project financing

Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions

Optimize working capital and funding structures
