Ryt Bank in Malaysia seeks a Senior Manager, Collections Strategy to own outcomes from missed payments through write-off recovery, partnering with Marketing, Operations, Risk, Data, Legal, Compliance and Product.

You will design the strategy, run controlled tests, and lead senior stakeholder decisions while ensuring guardrails with risk and compliance. Excellent analytical, hands-on, and leadership skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in collections strategy or related field.
• Proficient SQL and ability to analyze product analytics.
• Experience designing controlled tests (champion/challenger or phased rollouts).
• Ability to write clearly for leadership and drive decisions.
• Knowledge of Malaysian collections conduct (BNM rules) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the collections outcome from cure in the first week to write-off recovery and cost per ringgit collected.
• Translate plan into execution readiness with targets, sizing, sequencing.
• Run monthly forums and weekly execution checks with operations.
• Build a test-and-learn programme within conduct guardrails.
• Develop contact rules and optimize channel interactions.
• Oversee AI call-bot vendors and agencies with KPI framework.
• Advise product on fixes like self-serve repayment or pay-cromise capture.
