Job summary

AirBorneo Airways Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior leader for Technical Services in Malaysia to oversee aircraft maintenance, airworthiness, and engineering standards. You will drive policy, manage budgets, and coordinate with OEMs to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires 8–10 years in aircraft maintenance/engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, and CAAM/ICAO licensing where possible. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a technical discipline (Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical).
• CAAM Category A or B Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) or ICAO Type II license preferred.
• 8–10 years in aircraft maintenance/engineering with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance planning, airworthiness regulations, reliability monitoring, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering policies, procedures, and maintenance programs for safe airline operations.
• Oversee ADs, service bulletins, and structural/avionics modification projects.
• Meet KPIs for fleet technical dispatch reliability and maintenance turnaround times.
• Monitor fleet health, analyze reliability data, and implement corrective actions.
• Support regulatory compliance, quality audits, and liaison with aviation authorities.
