Job summary

Bank Islam in Malaysia seeks an Assistant Manager in Property and Project Management to oversee operation, maintenance, and compliance of M&E systems across banking premises.

You will supervise transformers, generators, and building services, coordinate with contractors, ensure SLA compliance, and lead energy sustainability initiatives.

The role requires 5–7+ years in project/site supervision, renovation, and electrical works, with strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Technical background in construction and electrical works (M&E) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD for drawings or input.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor M&E systems across Bank premises.
• Oversee transformer and generator systems (2000amp transformer, 500Kva genset) at HQ.
• Plan inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and manage service contracts.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers to meet specifications and SLA obligations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies; liaise with regulatory bodies.
• Manage project-related activities from planning to completion; oversee energy sustainability initiatives.
