Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage and optimize internal and external shipping activities in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on timely deliveries, process improvements, and compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Logistics with 6–8 years of related experience and strong MS Office skills. Penang-based position with opportunities to contribute to global logistics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant logistics experience in manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement improvements in logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, working with global logistics team.
• Ensure all logistics activities adhere to laws, regulations, and quality standards.
• Evaluate the performance of forwarders and implement improvements.
• Make critical decisions and liaise with forwarder/purchaser/planner/warehouse/program to ensure smooth inbound shipments.
• Liaise with freight forwarders to resolve delays, discrepancies and damages in outgoing shipments.
• Ensure goods are delivered on time.
• Maintain accurate filing for order-related and shipping documentation for audits.
• Perform other ad-hoc shipping duties as assigned.
