Job summary

Monash University Malaysia invites applications for an A Level C academic to contribute to teaching and administration of undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education programs in business law, corporate governance, ethics and tax law. The role includes developing scholarly activity and professional expertise relevant to the discipline.

The position reports to the Head of Department, Business Law and Taxation, and is a full-time fixed-term academic appointment at the main campus.

A Level C academic is expected to make contributions to the teaching effort of the university, particularly at undergraduate and graduate diploma level, and to carry out activities to develop her/his scholarly, research and/or professional expertise relevant to the profession or discipline.

The academic will be responsible for teaching and administration of undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education programs in the area(s) of business law, corporate governance, ethics, and tax law within the School. The academic will also be responsible for undertaking activities that maintain and develop scholarly research and professional activities that are related to the discipline.

The role contributes primarily to teaching of business law, corporate governance, ethics, and tax law units at undergraduate and graduate levels, and conducting competitive industry-focused research on business, innovation and entrepreneurship.
