Job summary

SCHOTT is seeking a Head of Lean Six Sigma at the Kulim site to lead the LSS strategy and embed a culture of continuous improvement across operations.

You will guide cross-functional teams, coach process owners, and ensure projects align with business plans while delivering operational, customer, and financial improvements. The role requires a strong leadership track record in Lean Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (minimum).
• Minimum 8 years working experience in Lean Six Sigma with proven project leadership.
• Skilled in Minitab/JMP and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experienced to train and coach process owners in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
• Proven track record in building and leading a Lean Six Sigma culture within an organization.
• Results oriented, a change agent, able to interface with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach cross-functional Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
• Collaborate with process owners to deliver operational, customer experience, and financial improvements.
• Facilitate Lean Six Sigma framework adoption, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions.
• Conduct project reviews and provide independent evaluation of performance.
• Support process improvements, re-engineering, and capability building of Belters.
• Train and coach process owners on tools and methodologies.
