Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7 to 10 years of related experience; experience in similar job roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects, involving multiple domains.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a sizable team of engineers.
• Take responsibility for non-technical elements of an engineering project (people, financials, etc.).
• Review and interpret customer requirements/specifications and act as primary customer contact.
• Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions; develop deployment strategies and plans.
• Lead deployment of strategic complex programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.
• Manage relationships with key vendors/partners as needed.
• Design, modify and implement schematics, bills of material, diagrams and drawings to meet Celestica needs.
• Testing, simulation and measurement of system performance; troubleshooting.
• Keep up to date with industry knowledge and regulations; solve complex problems.
