Job summary

techstreet is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build and maintain scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs using Laravel. You will lead architecture, ensure code quality, and mentor junior developers in a fast-growing environment.

You should have 3+ years of PHP/Laravel backend, expertise with MySQL and MongoDB, and practical knowledge of Docker, Git, Linux, and Redis caching. Strong problem-solving and documentation skills are essential, with a focus on security and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend experience with PHP 8.x and Laravel.
• Experience with MySQL (schema design, indexing, performance tuning) and MongoDB (document modeling, aggregation).
• Proficient with Docker, Git, RESTful APIs, and Linux environments.
• Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Laravel
• Architect and optimize both relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases for high performance
• Write clean, modular, and testable code following OOP, SOLID principles, and PSR standards
• Implement security best practices (OWASP) and optimize database queries and caching strategies (Redis)
• Conduct code reviews, maintain Docker/CI-CD pipelines, and mentor junior/mid-level developers
