Job description

The new role :

  • Drive mutually beneficial outcomes that meet both the customer’s expectations (service quality, fair pricing) and company objectives (gross margin, profitability, service expansion, and new project opportunities). ·
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to introduce and sell additional services, deepening the integration between the company and the customer. ·
  • Manage customer feedback, address inquiries promptly, and compile insights for monthly reporting to support discussions with the Business Development Manager. ·
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Demand & Supply Planning, and Operations teams to ensure service levels consistently meet agreed standards. ·
  • Coordinate with country management to execute projects aligned with customer expectations. ·
  • Partner with the Business Development Manager to manage the onboarding process for new customers. ·
  • Monitor customer business developments proactively, preparing for and adapting to proposed changes. ·
  • Support negotiations and contract renewals in collaboration with the Business Development Manager or Country Head of Commercial.
  • Conduct regular meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews to strengthen contractual relationships and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Track and analyze customer performance against KPIs, preparing monthly performance reports.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects and initiatives to achieve team and company goals.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Marketing/Business/Management / Engineering or equivalent · Required Languages: English and Malay Language, proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in the corporate sales, key accounts or area, experience.
  • Gained from logistics, FMCG or food and beverage industries would have definite advantages. ·
  • Experience in industries of Logistics/Warehouse should be an advantage. ·
  • Excellent commercial and communication skills. ·
  • Proactive and positive approach to customers externally and internally. ·
  • Strong mathematical/statistical and presentation skills. ·
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint & Excel) ·
  • Capable of utilizing Business Intelligence tools.
