Job summary

Randstad Malaysia partners with leading manufacturing firms across Selangor and the Klang Valley to strengthen procurement operations. The role covers end-to-end procurement activities, from requisitions to PO issuance and delivery tracking, plus market research and vendor negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.

You will monitor inventory, coordinate with QA for vendor governance, and collaborate with finance and warehouse for 3-way matching and accurate receipts,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline.
• 2–6+ years of direct purchasing or procurement experience within manufacturing or production.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP/WMS software experience is a plus.
• Mandarin fluency is an added advantage when liaising with regional and overseas vendors.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle procurement from requisition to PO issuance and delivery tracking.
• Sourcing local and overseas vendors; negotiate pricing, credit terms, and contract conditions.
• Monitor stock levels and buffer requirements to prevent production disruptions while maintaining optimal inventory controls.
• Coordinate with QA to manage non-conforming materials, vendor defect claims, replacements, and credit notes.
• Track raw material market trends and price fluctuations to inform purchasing strategies and budgeting.
• Partner with finance for 3-way matching (PO/DO/Invoice) and align with warehouse teams on material receipts.

• End-to-End Procurement: Execute full-cycle order processing, from requisition to Purchase Order (PO) issuance and delivery tracking.

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 6+ years of direct purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing or production (Executive to Senior Executive levels welcomed).
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP/WMS software will be a plus.
• Proven track record in vendor negotiation, supplier evaluation, and inventory planning.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound understanding of procurement audit requirements.
• Fluency in Mandaaarin is an added advantage to liaise with regional suppliers and overseas vendors
