MAXION HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. in Tebrau, Malaysia, seeks a Sr. Purchasing Executive for jewelry. Source jewellery products from suppliers, review designs and materials, prepare and monitor purchase orders, and coordinate custom-made items to ensure timely delivery.

You will analyze stock, liaise with marketing on new product launches, maintain records, and support the Merchandise Manager. SPM cert preferred with relevant jewelry/retail experience.

Qualifications

• At least SPM cert; jewelry/retail experience advantageous.
• Experience in supplier negotiation, PO management, and inventory control.
• Experience in merchandising, purchasing, or retail operations.
• Good knowledge of merchandise purchasing and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
• Able to analyse sales reports, stock turnover, and purchasing performance.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and support the Merchandise Manager.
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.

Responsabilités

• Source jewellery products from suppliers according to company requirements.
• Review designs, quality, materials, and product suitability based on market demand.
• Prepare, submit, and monitor purchase orders according to company procedures.
• Follow up on production progress, order-ready dates, and delivery status.
• Monitor stock levels and arrange replenishment based on sales performance and stock requirements.
• Coordinate custom-made and pre-order items to ensure timely delivery.
• Check product quality, specifications, and workmanship before accepting stock.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, supplier records, product data, and inventory documentation.
• Monitor purchasing progress, supplier performance, stock availability, and report issues to manager.
• Dealing with marketing team on new products launching, specific product marketing details.
• Other job as assigned by superior.
