Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Java Payments Engineer in Malaysia to design, develop and operate enterprise payment applications using Java Spring Boot in Unix/Linux environments. You will work with Oracle databases to implement robust payment workflows and RESTful services that scale with client needs.

You will contribute to payment data repositories and entitlement workflows, with exposure to CEW/PDR systems and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of professional experience in software development, with strong experience in enterprise Java applications.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and backend application development.
• Strong experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
• Work with Oracle Database 12c/19c, including database queries, procedures, views, and indexes.
