Axonect in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Java backend developer to modernize enterprise web apps using Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate with analysts and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

You will design and maintain microservices with RESTful/SOAP APIs, JPA and MySQL, implement CI/CD with Jenkins and SonarQube, and apply secure coding per OWASP while leveraging AWS and related technologies.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT or related field.
• 4+ years of production Java app development.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, reactive programming, microservices, Maven, JPA, REST/SOAP, MySQL.
• CI/CD, automated testing, code quality tools, and GitLab/Jenkins/SonarQube.
• Knowledge of secure coding, OWASP Top 10, deployment, and AWS.
• Familiar with Java WebFlux, Quarkus, Redis, Kafka, Vault.
• Experience with Linux/Red Hat and Bash scripting.
• Strong analytical and teamwork and documentation skills.
• Oracle or Java certifications advantageous.
• Experience in financial services or credit reporting systems advantageous.

• Develop, rearchitect, and modernize enterprise web apps using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with system analysts and teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain apps using microservices, reactive programming, RESTful/SOAP APIs, JPA, and databases.
• Prepare technical specs, conduct code reviews, and manage source code with Git.
• Develop unit and integration tests and support automated testing and CI/CD with Jenkins and SonarQube.
• Deploy features, monitor production, troubleshoot issues, and enhance performance.
