DHL IT Services in Cyberjaya is seeking a Software Engineer (Java) to join a global IT team. You will design, develop, and deploy Java-based backend services, contributing to microservices architecture and cloud deployments.

The role involves cross-region collaboration, agile rituals, and delivering secure, robust software. Requirements include strong Core Java skills, Spring, RESTful APIs, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Core Java skills with OOP, data structures, and multithreading.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Full-stack development with React/Node; HTML, CSS, JS/TS, REST APIs.
• Relational databases (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB); ORM tools.
• CI/CD and containerization (GitHub Actions, Jenkins; Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of security practices and secure coding principles.
• Proficiency in English for collaboration across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based software solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable, robust systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI, and QA to align business and tech needs.
• Develop and run unit, integration, and automated tests for quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends and improve development practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Oversee deployment of applications ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Communicate project status and solutions with stakeholders to foster transparency.
