Job summary

DHL IT Services in Malaysia (Cyberjaya) is hiring a Software Engineer (Java). You will develop high-quality software using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, with full-stack exposure including React and Node.js.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment across global teams, ensuring robust, scalable solutions and secure, performant applications. You’ll collaborate with product, UX/UI, and QA to implement requirements, write tests, and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Core Java with OOP, data structures and multithreading.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, RESTful APIs.
• Full-stack development experience with React, Node.js, HTML/CSS/JS.
• Database knowledge: Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• CI/CD tooling like GitHub Actions/Jenkins; containerization with Docker.
• Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud; security basics.
• Experience in microservices architecture and API design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of Java-based software solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable, robust systems.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and QA to align requirements.
• Develop and run unit/integration tests and automated tests.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate deployment and maintain service availability.
• Communicate project status and risk with stakeholders.
