Job summary

Arbeit Group in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Lead Java Developer to guide a high-impact enterprise technology team. You will work on large-scale applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and microservices to deliver mission-critical solutions.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of Java experience, strong Spring Boot expertise, and a track record building REST APIs with AWS cloud services. Local candidates only, no visa sponsorship, and leadership responsibilities across projects.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• 6+ years building and supporting REST APIs.
• 7+ years AWS cloud experience (ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS).
• Proficiency with CI/CD, IaC, Microservices, and Enterprise Application Development.
• Experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Senior Developer, or Technical Lead.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Legally eligible to work in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect and develop scalable RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.
• Drive best practices in software engineering, code quality, and system design.
• Support cloud architecture and deployment using AWS services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across projects.
