Job summary

Mindteck Software Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Java Developer with 4-5 years of hands-on backend experience. You will build scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot, develop RESTful APIs, and work with PostgreSQL in a DevOps-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java 8+ and Spring Boot proficiency.
• Hands-on microservices and API development experience.
• Good PostgreSQL knowledge and SQL skills.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend apps using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Design and implement PostgreSQL database solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from development to deployment.
• Use Git for version control and manage tasks with Jira.
• Work in Linux environments and perform basic scripting as needed.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-oriented development workflows.
• Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and contribute to system performance improvements.
