Job summary

Digital Business People in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Java developer to drive API development, system integration, and scalable software solutions. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, BAs, and PMs to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.

Hands-on in complex applications, you will optimize performance, conduct code reviews, and ensure security and quality through CI/CD practices, AWS deployment, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Java development with expertise in API development and system integration.
• Proficient in writing SQL for integration queries with familiarity in MSSQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns and best practices; adherence to coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate Java applications and APIs across multiple systems.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks; optimize application performance.
• Review code, participate in builds, and promote technical excellence.
• Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, Analysts, and PMs in a matrix environment.
• Write well-documented, scalable, and maintainable code across phases of development.
