The role requires strong hands-on coding ability, architectural thinking, and experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and API security (OAuth2, JWT).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong Java (8/11/17+) expertise.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Security.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Proficient in SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle) and ORM (Hibernate/JPA).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect secure, high-availability backend systems with performance in mind.
• Write clean, testable code following SOLID principles.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and fix production issues.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver features.
• Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews.
• Implement API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, API Gateway policies).
• Ensure code quality with unit and integration tests and code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps improvements.
