Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad is seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer to operate, maintain, and enhance the bank’s network security systems. You will work with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure security services are reliable, compliant, and aligned with the evolving threat landscape.

Responsibilities include managing upgrades, patching, and technology refresh, plus collaborating on audits and policy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of working experience in information security or related field.
• Strong knowledge of network security, controls, risks, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate, run, and maintain data security systems and solutions (Firewall, IPS, WAF, NAC, Proxy & Cloudflare).
• Continuously engineer and enhance network security solutions against evolving threats.
• Ensure availability, uptime, and service delivery of data security solutions per SLA.
• Implement security across all in-scope IT assets and verify coverage.
• Plan and execute security projects, including RFI/RFP, POC, delivery, and closure.
• Collaborate with audits to address findings within timelines.
