Job summary

SD Guthrie Berhad is seeking a Senior Executive, IT Infrastructure & Applications to manage IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and related projects. You will lead budgeting, asset management, and vendor coordination while ensuring reliable services and compliance across sites.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in IT infrastructure, with strong networking and systems administration skills, and excellent communication abilities to collaborate with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in IT or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience in vendor management, budget administration and IT asset management.
• Proficient in PC troubleshooting and basic networking/server administration.
• Proficient in Mac and Linux/UNIX OS.
• Networking systems proficiency; scripting knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication with diverse technical teams.

Responsibilities

• IT infrastructure management, monitoring and support across networks and services.
• Cybersecurity coordination: risk assessments, monitoring and incident response.
• Lead infrastructure projects: upgrades, deployments, and site connectivity.
• Budget planning: OPEX/CAPEX budgeting and cost control.
• Asset lifecycle management and vendor contract oversight.
• IT operations, governance, audits and documentation.
• Stakeholder liaison with business units and IT teams.
