Job summary

Ambu Malaysia is seeking a seasoned IT Finance professional to support month-end closing, validate GL bookings for IT costs, and post accruals. You will contribute to budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for IT capacity, headcount and time registration, while reporting IT expenditures and supporting audits.

The role requires a Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, at least five years of experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Requires Professional Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• At least five years of working experience.
• IT finance background and MNC experience is a plus.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in ERP, Excel and Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support IT finance month-end closing in accordance with accounting standards and group policies.
• Review IT cost center and IT project GL bookings for correctness.
• Prepare and post accruals for IT costs.
• Ensure compliance of GL bookings and classify OPEX vs CAPEX.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for IT costs.
• Report IT project expenditures, including tangible and intangible assets.
• Monitor actual IT project expenditures against budget.
• Maintain IT project master data and align with financial systems.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights for planning.
• Drive continuous improvement within the global IT function.
• Investigate technical issues arising from daily activities and resolve.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and support internal financial audits.
