Job summary

AkzoNobel seeks a Senior IT Auditor to provide objective insights to improve governance, risk management and internal controls across a highly international organization. You will lead and coordinate audits, assess processes including SAP configuration controls, and advise on improvements.

In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, to obtain fit-for-purpose insights and drive enhancements.

Qualifications

• Lead or participate in internal audit assignments globally according to the Internal Audit Methodology.
• Provide input for audit scope and information gathering; set up interviews and document preparations.
• Liaise between Operational Auditors and Data Scientist to ensure fit-for-purpose data and insights.
• Review processes, identify risks, test controls, and present conclusions during audit execution.
• Complete audit documentation, update observations, facilitate management comment resolution, and follow up on actions.
• Stay current on audit knowledge and expertise; share knowledge within the function.
• Collaborate with internal audit and assist management with continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support audit planning, scope definition, and information gathering; conduct client interviews.
• Collaborate with Data Scientist to obtain useful data insights for process improvements.
