Job summary

Air Products, a world-leading industrial gases company, seeks an experienced Principal Internal Auditor in Kuala Lumpur to design and execute financial and operational audits. You will develop findings, recommendations, and scalable solutions while collaborating with management to address gaps identified.

You will assess SOX controls, support annual testing, and may lead investigations under the Global Asset Protection umbrella. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• .Bachelor's degree required; professional certification preferred (CPA/CIA/ACCA).
• +.Experience in internal audits, finance, or internal controls (min 7 years).
• +.Strong English communication and leadership capabilities.
• +.Proficiency in data extraction and analytics with SAP/ACL/Qlik/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute financial and operational audits to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Prepare accurate, logical workpapers describing work performed, test results, and conclusions.
• Develop findings and recommendations to improve internal control environments and collaborate with management for remediation.
• Follow up on action plans to ensure timely remediation.
• Identify emerging risks and leverage company insights in audits.
• Assess and test SOX controls and support the annual testing program.
• Support or lead investigations as directed by Global Asset Protection.
