Job summary

Executive Recruiters Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior IPRAN & Data Communication Technical Support Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to manage complex network issues and coordinate with NOC and field teams. You will diagnose faults, perform RCA/PIR reporting, and guide junior engineers while maintaining strong customer communication.

The role requires hands-on IPRAN/IP network expertise, strong routing knowledge, and experience with network monitoring and service recovery in a telecom environment.

Qualifications

• IPRAN/IPNetwork experience with hands-on deployment, maintenance and support.
• Solid routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, QoS).
• Advanced fault troubleshooting across routing issues, latency, link failures and outages.
• Experience in network monitoring, alarm analysis, preventive maintenance and service recovery.
• Ability to work with telecom operators and NOC, coordinating with project teams.
• Ability to prepare RCA/PIR and technical reports and explain findings clearly.
• Technical leadership to guide junior engineers.
• Effective communication with customers and internal teams under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex network faults in IPRAN/IP network environments.
• Coordinate troubleshooting activities with NOC, field engineers and project teams.
• Prepare RCA and PIR reports and present findings to customers.

Requirements

• IPRAN / IPNetwork Experience – Solid hands-onexperience with IPRAN, IP/MPLS, routers and switches, covering networkoperations, maintenance, deployment and technical support.
• Routing& Switching – Strong workingknowledge and practical experience with BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, L2/L3 VPN,VLAN, QoS and Ethernet.
• AdvancedFault Troubleshooting – Able toindependently diagnose and resolve complex network faults, including routingissues, packet loss, latency, link failures, interface problems, serviceinterruptions and connectivity problems.
• NetworkO&M – Experience in networkmonitoring, alarm analysis, configuration checks, performance analysis,preventive maintenance, network optimisation and service recovery. NMS/EMSexperience is an advantage.
• Customer& NOC Support – Able to workdirectly with telecom operators, the NOC, field engineers and project teams tohandle major faults and drive issues to closure.
• RCA / PIR& Technical Reporting – Ableto prepare and lead RCA/PIR, fault reports, technical analysis andtroubleshooting reports, and to explain technical findings clearly tocustomers.
• TM / YTLExperience (Highly Preferred) – RelevantTM or YTL experience in IPRAN, IP networks, data communication or transmissionnetworks is highly preferred.
• TechnicalLeadership – Able to guidejunior engineers, coordinate troubleshooting activities and take ownership ofcomplex technical issues.
