Job summary

ASK Resources is seeking a Lead Specialist – GIPS Operations in Putrajaya/ Malaysia to join our regional investment operations team. The role focuses on reconciliations, trade booking, settlement, and fund accounting across equities, fixed income, and derivatives.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years in investment operations or middle office, strong securities knowledge, advanced Excel, and familiarity with Bloomberg/BBG and EMS-IBOR.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Investment Operations and/or Middle Office.
• Strong knowledge of securities and financial instruments.
• Experience with equities, fixed income, derivatives, and fund operations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with Bloomberg/BBG and EMS-IBOR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations and resolve breaks.
• Support cash and securities trade booking across asset classes.
• Handle corporate actions and related processes.
• Support trade settlement and lifecycle activities.
• Investigate trade breaks and P&L impact analysis.
• Oversee IBOR and Bloomberg-related activities daily.
• Monitor limits and manage breaches.
• Assist fund accounting, valuation, and NAV calculations.
• Coordinate with audit teams on matters.
• Participate in projects and process improvements.
