Job summary

Eco-Shop Malaysia seeks an experienced Internal Audit professional to lead risk-based audits across its rapidly expanding store network. You will manage risk assessment, planning, fieldwork and reporting, driving improvements in governance and internal controls.

The role emphasizes data analysis, root-cause findings, and practical recommendations. You will present outcomes to stakeholders and guide action plans, while coaching junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years of relevant Internal Audit experience.
• Rapid expansion chain store background and CIA, CISA or other professional certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audit assignments in line with the risk-based annual plan.
• Manage the full audit lifecycle from risk assessment to follow-up.
• Evaluate governance, risk management and internal controls effectiveness.
• Analyze data and business processes to detect trends and control gaps.
• Prepare clear, evidence-based findings and actionable recommendations.
• Present results to stakeholders and secure agreement on actions.
• Monitor corrective actions to ensure issue resolution.
• Contribute to special reviews and ad hoc assignments.
• Coach junior team members and help develop audit practices.
