Job summary

Worldwide Holdings Berhad is seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional to prepare TOR and audit programmes, conduct audits, and draft formal reports. You will present findings, follow up on action plans, and perform ad hoc reviews while ensuring compliance with standards and methodologies.

The role requires strong analytical ability, good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and willingness to travel. A two-year contract is offered with renewal based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance-related field.
• Minimum 3 years in internal or external auditing, preferably in listed company or medium-to-large firm.
• Experience in audit project/contract management, property development, construction, energy, waste management and IT is advantageous.
• Strong report writing, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to analyze complex data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare TOR and audit programmes, assess risks, define audit scope and schedules.
• Perform audits per generally accepted standards and approved methodologies.
• Draft and finalise audit reports, working papers and supporting documents.
• Present observations and provide recommendations.
• Conduct follow-up audits to check management action plans.
• Undertake other tasks including risk management, compliance, BCM, ISO internal audits and ad hoc duties.
• Travel as required and contribute as a dependable team member.
• Uphold integrity and demonstrate attention to detail.
